It’s been a little while since my last ‘Catch Up Sunday!’ – 18 weeks infact!! Hasn’t that time just flew by.

I am keeping this post pretty much the same as before – news from the previous week, a round up of MWD posts and then my favourite reads from other blogs.

There’s not too much to report from this past week as I have been on holiday (a HUGE thank you to ‘mini me’ for keeping an eye on everything while I was off) and the last couple of days have been spent catching up on all I’ve missed. I haven’t even tackled the inbox yet so anyone who has emailed, I promise I will reply first thing tomorrow morning.

It’s amazing what a little break can do! I feel so refreshed and I just can’t wait to get back in the swing of things tomorrow. Got an exciting week ahead!!

Well that’s another week over which means that we are now only 76 days away from Christmas! The weather took a bit of a dip this week with the ice creams and BBQ’s being replaced with Stews and Hot Chocolates! It was lovely having those few days of heat and sunshine but I must say I am ready now to wrap up in my winter woolies and embrace the Autumn/Winter months ahead. It’s my birthday in a couple of weeks and originally I was excited by the thought that perhaps I could be sitting outside a pub celebrating but I don’t think it would be the same if I didn’t have my traditional rainfall and chilly temperature.

Well that’s another week over which means that we are now only 83 days away from Christmas! It’s very strange though as we are currently basking in glorious sunshine here in London so all thoughts of Halloween and Christmas shopping have quickly been replaced with BBQ’s and Ice Cream this weekend! It was lovely and warm last weekend but it’s been a real scorcher the last couple of days! Hard to believe we are in October!

It’s that time of the week again where I get to showcase one my favourite supplier/products! When I got married back in 2006 I found choosing what to give as favours a really REALLY daunting task. There were so many options but I knew I didn’t want to go down the traditional route of sugared almonds and I didn’t have the budget for anything too lavish so in the end I went with Lottery Tickets and put them in pink envelopes to match the colour theme – these little touches even got a mention in my Dads speech lol!

Now, had I seen these when I was getting married I would have saved myself a lot of bother!!…

I would never have had to worry about what to put inside them as they are just so pretty on their own!! If I was given an empty one as a favour I would have been more than happy as they are just gorgeous! They are quite expensive (working out at $3.50 per bag) so if you’re having a big wedding this could work out very costly BUT soooooo worth it. A few sweeties would fill them out at very little extra cost and the mulitple uses for these bags after would mean that people had a lovely keepsake of your big day for years to come!

If you’re getting married and using these and happen to have one spare that you just don’t know what to do with – Fear not!! Send it my way and I promise I will treasure it!
