Beauty Test & Review – Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Rose and Lavender

Posted by Emma ♥ - September 3rd, 2012

As I’m sure you have guessed by now, Tasha and myself are HUGE fans of the Liz Earle range and must admit to squealing slightly each time we get an email from the lovely Laura as it’s always good news.

Last week however, we let out an extra squeak as we were given the chance to test a new product before it even hit the shop shelves (exciting huh!) and OM blooming G it is just amazing!

Already massive fans of the Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser (I’d go as far to say this is my favourite beauty product EVER!), the new limited edition doesn’t disappoint. Here’s a little information explaining the story behind the new addition to the Liz Earle collection and Tasha’s review….

This year we have been working with Rebecca Taylor – a young entrepreneur supported by The Prince’s Trust – who is being mentored by Liz for the Tomorrow Campaign. The Tomorrow Campaign was created to inspire the next generation and paired six Trust-supported young people with iconic mentors to create a product that will be retailed nationwide to raise funds for The Prince’s Trust. Together, Liz and Rebecca have given our original Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser a new twist. Our award-winning formula has been updated to include rose and lavender essential oils. The calming and relaxing lavender oil combined with the soothing properties of rose make this product ideal for night-time use, and gives our much-loved beauty essential a new twist for an exceptional cause.  In addition, we will donate £2.00 from every product purchased to The Prince’s Trust, helping young people into jobs and training.

Liz says: “Our Special Edition Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser includes the same award-winning concentrated cream formula to remove daily grime and make up to leave skin clear, smooth and exceptionally clean, but with a special twist – a unique blend of rose and lavender essential oils to calm and relax your senses, ideal for use to ensure a good night’s sleep. Perfect partners; use our original Cleanse & Polish in the morning and our Special Edition in the evenings.”

Name of product: Cleanse and Polish hot cloth cleanser rose and lavender

Price: £19.75 150ml

How to use:

Step 1: Massage one or two pumps onto dry skin over face and neck twice a day.

Step 2: Rinse the pure muslin cloth in hand-hot water and wring out before gently wiping off the cream. Rinse

Follow with Instant Boost Skin Tonic and your choice of moisturiser.

My Thoughts:  We got this lovely product from Laura (we love you!) and as expected, fell in love with it straight away!  It smells great, it’s very soothing and makes my skin feel so soft and clean! I used this product as recommended in the information above and found this to be a great tip! I used my usual Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish as normal in the morning and then the limited edition Rose & Lavender version in the evening and I found this really did help to calm and relax me. I was totally ready for bed afterwards!

Would I recommend this product to other people?:

For sure! I would recommend this to anyone I meet  – another brilliant product to add to the collection.  Another great thing about this special edition is that £2 from every purchase will go towards supporting The Prince’s Trust which is another charity we are fond of here at MWD

As you all know we are HUGE fans of the Liz Earle products here at Military Wedding Discounts and when we heard recently of the special offer they have starting tomorrow we knew we just had to share it with you!

Our Cleanse & Polish is a true beauty phenomenon and has won over 80 awards and accolades – now officially the most revolutionary beauty product of the last 20 years, with recently-celebrated awards from CEW (UK) and The Sunday Times Style!

To celebrate these achievements we are starting a Beauty Revolution by selling our beauty icon at its original launch price of £9.50 (Cleanse & Polish 100ml plus two pure muslin cloths) instead of the current price of £14.25! This offer launches on Wednesday 23rd May and is available online at lizearle.com and via our Customer Centre (01983 813 913) and is available until Friday 25th May, or while stocks last.

Liz Earle says: “I have always believed that you can genuinely depend on Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser to deliver outstanding results, revealing softer, smoother and more radiant looking skin from the first use – it’s truly tried, tested, approved and loved! It’s an honour that the UK beauty industry agree that we have developed something special.”

We were lucky enough to receive some products to trial from Liz Earle and I honestly cannot recommend them enough! The transformation I have found in my skin is just amazing – I have spent years trialing many brands and just wish I had found Liz Earle sooner!

Come back next Tuesday for a review of the Liz Earle Toner and if you need any further convincing on the ‘Cleanse and Polish’ you can check out my review for that here.

Beauty Test & Review – Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish

Posted by Emma ♥ - February 29th, 2012

I had heard so many amazing reviews about this product so was MEGA excited when the lovely Laura from Liz Earle sent me a Cleanser & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser to trial.

My skin was in dire need of some pampering – it was so dry and sensitive. It needed some extreme TLC and I was hoping that a few of weeks using this product would see me right….

Name of Product:

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser

Price:

Starts from £13.00 for a 100ml starter kit

How to use:

Apply 1-2 pumps of the cream onto dry skin. Massage gently using your fingers and ensure it is rubbed in paying special attention to any particularly dry/sensitive areas. Rinse one of your muslin cloths in hand hot water and wring out so it’s damp but not soaking wet.

Using the hot cloth, start to wipe off the cream. You may need to use your fingers under the cloth to ensure you reach those awkward areas around you nose and under your eyes.

Once all the cream has been removed, you then rinse your skin with cool water and pat dry with a towel and then leave it to dry naturally.

My Thoughts:

I blooming LOVE it!!!

This is the answer to all my prayers and I will remain forever grateful to Laura for introducing me to this product!

As I mentioned previously, I have suffered terribly with dry/sensitive skin but nothing ever really seemed to help. It might have worked as a temporary fix but nothing long term. This however has transformed my skin and it’s the best it has ever felt!

At risk of sounding like a slight mentalist, my favourite part about going for a curry is when they come round with the hot towels at the end. Don’t get me wrong, the food is always fab but by the end you are just dying to clean yourself up a bit and I love the feeling of that hot flannel. No amount of cold soapy water could make you feel as clean as the flannel did and that’s how the muslin cloth you use with the Cleanse & Polish felt too!!

After spending all that time gently massaging the cream into your face with the lovely feeling of the cool Eucalyptus soothing your skin and to then have the hot muslin cloth to remove it – ah it’s like heaven!! Once I then finish it off with the final splash of cool water and just lightly pat dry, my skin feels so squeaky clean and fresh! The cream smells amazing too and you’re left with that scent for a little while.

It’s not gone unnoticed either! I’ve had plenty of comments over the last week about how great my skin looks and 2 people who have already sampled mine have gone on to buy full size bottles!

I wish I had found this product earlier but now I have I will never be looking back – this has now become one of my beauty must haves and I will be sharing the love with everyone and anyone who will listen – if you’ve not tried it yet then I just cannot recommend it enough!

Now I’m just left with the decision of what Liz Earle product to try next!!

Would I recommend this product to other people?

Oh most definitely!!

Where can I purchase these products?

From the Liz Earle website – see here

Have you tried any of the Liz Earle products? Are there any that you recommend I try?
