The Queen’s eldest Grandaughter Zara Phillips married Mike Tindall at the Canongate Kirk in Edinburgh on Saturday 30th July 2011.

The Bride wore a stunning ivory dress with a short train by Edinburgh-trained designer Stewart Parvin along with a beautiful silk veil. The dress had a chevron pleated bodice, ending in inverted pleats on a dropped waist, creating a bell-shaped silhouette, and also included a concealed structured corset as well as silk tulle straps that fell into a V-shape at the back. Mike Tindall wore a suit by Cad and the Dandy and shoes from Oliver Sweeney.

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo’s very private wedding took place on Friday 15th July on Necker Island in front of just 35 friends and family.

The bride wore a beautiful two-piece Monique Lhuillier creation, which featured an embellished lace corset with rose and crystal details, plus a hand tufted-skirt made of silk faille.  She also wore a chapel-length veil for the ceremony. Lachey also looks gorgeous (when doesn’t he???) in a Dolce & Gabanna suit.

The couple, who got engaged in November, flew their wedding guests to the secret location as a surprise.

TV presenter Vanessa, who used to work as a correspondent for hit US show Entertainment tonight, said: ‘Nobody knew where they were going.’

Delighted Nick believes the plan was a spectacular success. He said: ‘Our wedding invitations were in the form of a plane ticket.

‘We told them they were going away and the attire was ‘island chic.’

It doesn’t sound like they are planning to wait too long until they add to the new Lachey-Minnillo brood either as Vanessa said ‘For us, this is just a stepping stone to do what we ultimately want and that’s to start a family together’

Kate Moss and Jamie Hince were officially pronounced man and wife when they married at St Peter’s church in the Cotswolds on Friday 1st July.

Kate looked stunning in a vintage cream dress designed by John Galliano with a beautiful floor-length veil. Not one to do things by half  Kate  had 15 Bridesmaids including her 8 year old daughter Lila Grace.

Manolo Blahnik designed a special pair of wedding shoes for Kate which included a blue insole as her ‘Something Blue’.

Jamie Hince wore a light blue StefanoPilati for YSL suit and added a ‘Rock n Roll’ twist with a pair of sunglasses.

Their wedding reception, nickname ‘Mosstock’ was rumoured to have lasted the whole weekend with food being supplied by The Dorchester and Ritz Paris hotels and the entertainment was said to have included Iggy Pop, Beth Ditto, Snoop Dog and Carl Barat.

America Ferrera married her long term boyfriend Ryan Piers Williams, who she met when she was cast in his student film at USC, in New York State on 27th June 2011.  They borrowed the house of America’s Ugly Betty co-star Vanessa Williams (Wilhemina Slater) in Chappaqua and the officiant was other co-star Judith Light (Claire Meade).

America wore a beautiful multi-tiered gown from Amsale’s Christos label, Fred Leighton earrings and carried a bouquet of crimson blossoms.

Guests at the wedding are said to have included Rebecca Romijn, Blake Lively and Amber Tamblyn to name a few.

I am sure you will all agree there was nothing ‘ugly’ about America on her big day – she looked absolutely beautiful!

I love Lily Allen – there I’ve said it!!

I know she drives some people mad and I suppose she is one of those Marmite characters where you either love or hate her but I think she’s fab and love nothing more than turning ‘Alright, Still’ up full blast while working – always makes me ‘Smile’ (Ah God that was bad I know but just couldn’t resist!). She’s dead quirky and I kind of like her carefree attitude too – she’s certainly not afraid to say what she thinks!

Anyway back to weddings and I think it’s safe to say we always knew this one would be a little bit different so I have actually been really looking forward to hearing all about it and I must say, it hasn’t disappointed!

The Wedding of Lily Allen & Sam Cooper

Lily Allen was said to have burst into tears when Sam Cooper proposed to her on Christmas Day 2010 while on holiday in Bali. Their last minute break had been a result of the tragic miscarriage they suffered the previous month.

The couple celebrated in the hotel bar with friends and fellow guests drinking champagne and cocktails until the wee hours!

Shortly after announcing their lovely news, during a business trip to New York, Lily took to Twitter to show off her beautiful ring..

These cute Save the Dates were sent to guests with the style of the card showing that they have a great sense of humour (Lily appearing as an older frumpy woman and Sam in a Raincoat) and also  indicated that their wedding was likely to be quite a ‘relaxed’ affair..

Lily and Sam got married at St James the Great Church in Cranham, Gloucestershire on Saturday 11th June 2011.

Lily looked stunning in a 1920′s inspired Delphine Manivet creation. It nipped in at the waist and had a fishtail skirt. Lily also wore an elaborate lace headress with a flower detail on the side. Continuing with her English Country wedding theme, Lily’s bouquet was small with roses which mixed cream, peach and blue flowers together.

Their wedding reception was held in the garden of Lily’s house nearby and included a red phone box full of beer. a pimms stand and a hog roast!

It was here that Sam made a very emotional speech which included him announcing the lovely news that Lily was 17 weeks pregnant!

This didn’t stop Lily partying with the rest of them right through until 8am the following day with kebabs being handed out at 3am.

After throwing this bash, I can’t have imagined Lily & Sam jetting off to the Maldives/Caribbean for their honeymoon so it didn’t suprise me at all when I read that they are infact heading to Glastonbury Festival and staying in a Teepee.

Now, I know I’m a bit late with this one BUT I couldn’t just skip the fab news and the opportunity to have a goss about Kate Hudson’s Engagement!!

Kate and Matt met at Coachella music festival back in April 2010 where Matt was headlining on the Saturday night and Kate was enjoying the festivities!

“I was watching Radiohead’s Thom Yorke with a guy I knew from high school, who introduced me to Matthew.

“We realised we had met a few years earlier, in Australia. The I got distracted and said, ‘I’ve got to find my friends, I don’t know where they went.’ He just looked at me and said, ‘Come on, I’ll take care of you.

‘“That’s when I went, ‘Wait a minute, who are you?’”

In an interview with InStyle, she spoke about how Matt is special to her by being all formal and calling him ‘Matthew’.

“Matthew was polite and immediately protective, which for somebody like me who’s all over the place – one minute I’m over here and the next I’m over there – is important.

“He is just an amazing person.”

Aaaaaaah it sounds like love at first sight!

Fast forward to April 2011 and they are engaged and Kate is due to give birth to their first baby (Kate already has a son, Ryder, from her previous marriage to Chris Robinson) this summer!

Now, I know it’s not real life, but I can’t help but think back to ‘Bride Wars’ whenever I think of the upcoming nuptials – she was such a beautiful bride!!

In her gorgeous Vera Wang dress and traditional reception at the New York Plaza Hotel, I can’t really see that being Kate and Matt’s style.

I think a more boho chic/outdoor wedding with Tipi’s could be more their style – Kate & Matt Mood board on the blog this afternoon!!

I think whatever happens, the night should end with a duet – we all know Kate is pretty nifty at the karaoke….

Well, with the Engagement having only just been announced there’s not much news of the actual wedding yet but fear not – I will be keeping a close eye on this one!
