Beauty Test & Review – Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish

Posted by Emma ♥ - February 29th, 2012

I had heard so many amazing reviews about this product so was MEGA excited when the lovely Laura from Liz Earle sent me a Cleanser & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser to trial.

My skin was in dire need of some pampering – it was so dry and sensitive. It needed some extreme TLC and I was hoping that a few of weeks using this product would see me right….

Name of Product:

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser

Price:

Starts from £13.00 for a 100ml starter kit

How to use:

Apply 1-2 pumps of the cream onto dry skin. Massage gently using your fingers and ensure it is rubbed in paying special attention to any particularly dry/sensitive areas. Rinse one of your muslin cloths in hand hot water and wring out so it’s damp but not soaking wet.

Using the hot cloth, start to wipe off the cream. You may need to use your fingers under the cloth to ensure you reach those awkward areas around you nose and under your eyes.

Once all the cream has been removed, you then rinse your skin with cool water and pat dry with a towel and then leave it to dry naturally.

My Thoughts:

I blooming LOVE it!!!

This is the answer to all my prayers and I will remain forever grateful to Laura for introducing me to this product!

As I mentioned previously, I have suffered terribly with dry/sensitive skin but nothing ever really seemed to help. It might have worked as a temporary fix but nothing long term. This however has transformed my skin and it’s the best it has ever felt!

At risk of sounding like a slight mentalist, my favourite part about going for a curry is when they come round with the hot towels at the end. Don’t get me wrong, the food is always fab but by the end you are just dying to clean yourself up a bit and I love the feeling of that hot flannel. No amount of cold soapy water could make you feel as clean as the flannel did and that’s how the muslin cloth you use with the Cleanse & Polish felt too!!

After spending all that time gently massaging the cream into your face with the lovely feeling of the cool Eucalyptus soothing your skin and to then have the hot muslin cloth to remove it – ah it’s like heaven!! Once I then finish it off with the final splash of cool water and just lightly pat dry, my skin feels so squeaky clean and fresh! The cream smells amazing too and you’re left with that scent for a little while.

It’s not gone unnoticed either! I’ve had plenty of comments over the last week about how great my skin looks and 2 people who have already sampled mine have gone on to buy full size bottles!

I wish I had found this product earlier but now I have I will never be looking back – this has now become one of my beauty must haves and I will be sharing the love with everyone and anyone who will listen – if you’ve not tried it yet then I just cannot recommend it enough!

Now I’m just left with the decision of what Liz Earle product to try next!!

Would I recommend this product to other people?

Oh most definitely!!

Where can I purchase these products?
